SC&H GROUP ANNOUNCES CORPORATE GREEN INITIATIVES

Program will implement best practices to reduce firm’s impact on the environment

SPARKS, MD — August 5, 2008 —SC&H Group, LLC – one of the fastest-growing accounting and consulting firms in the nation – today announced a new strategic initiative to make company operations more environmentally sound. These efforts will be led by a steering committee that will perform research, make recommendations and implement the plans to promote environmental sustainability company-wide.

The "Green" committee’s initiatives are intended to minimize environmental impact by eliminating or reducing unnecessary waste and recycling whenever possible. Among the initiatives already underway are: instituting a firm-wide recycling policy with a focus on ease of compliance; eliminating disposable paper cups in favor of reusable mugs; facilitating employee carpooling through a discussion forum and incentive program; teaming with cleaning crews to ensure the use of only eco-friendly cleaning products; converting to recycled-content copy/print paper and setting printer defaults to duplex mode.

"Not only is 'going green' the responsible and right thing to do, we also know that by investing in the environment we can find cost savings and boost company morale," says Tom Stout, Managing Partner. "As we continue with the aggressive growth plan we have in place for the firm, we plan to seek out ways to mitigate any negative effects our operations may have on the environment."

SC&H Group has an outstanding history of corporate social responsibility. The firm participates in and sponsors numerous local philanthropic events, and many of its employees sit on the boards of leading non-profit organizations. Also, the firm gives generous donations to local charities each year under the direction of the employee-led SC&H Group Charitable Foundation. Earlier this year, the firm closed for a day so that all firm employees could work on various community improvement projects throughout the Baltimore and Washington, DC areas.
